Meaning of huff, sangfroid, menacing, poise, and snapping

 huff - blow out air loudly on account of exertion, express one's feeling of pretty annoyance  - Her was huffing under a heavy load. Sanfroid - poise under pressure  The hostage negotitiator exhibited a sanfroid that often times was move menacing than the  sword at his throat or the gun at his hreadyead.  menacing - suggestive of coming danger The strong dark eyebrows give his face an oddly menacing look. poise - ready to act, about to do something The actors were poised on the stage, ready for the curtain to come up.  snapping - to break or be broken suddenly, usually with a sharp noise  - To move or be moved  into a particular position especially sharp noise. - She snapped the bag shut and walked out.

Meaning of gall, inexorable, inveterate, egregious, and rankle

 gall - rudeness  - Even though Carly was only recently hired, she had the gall to question her boss's judgment in front of the office.  inexorable - impossible to stop  The rise of the computer was an inexorable shift in technology and culture.   inveterate - habitual  He is an inveterate smoker and has told his family and friends that there is not way he will even quit.  egregious - shockingly bad  The dictator's abuse of human rights was so egregious that many world leaders demanded that he should trialed in an international court for genocide.  rankle - get under one's skin  - His constant whistling would rankle her, sometimes causing her to leave in a huff.   

Meaning of Allegian, nuance, render, inculcate, and schism

 Allegian - support for leader, government belief  I am actualy aware that readers will map their own cultural framework or allegiance on to the material presented in the book. Nuance - very minor differences  He watched her face intently to catch every nuance of expression. Render - present the things or thought, to give help  - She was rendered speechless by the attack. - to render somebody a service/render a service to somebody  Inculcate  - to make somebody learn or remember ideas, habits especially by repeating them often. Schism - strong disagreement among member of an organization  - A schism between leading members of the party, the church was divided by schism.
